dunhill, the famed British menswear brand, has released a new fragrance that will be exclusively available to buy in London before its global premiere. Named ‘Icon,’ this will be the first scent under the company’s new creative director, John Ray. Available to buy in dunhill’s own stores, as well as in luxury department store Harrods, Icon will provide the capital’s gentlemen with an exclusive first look at the fragrance; and given the brand’s strong British heritage, it’s little wonder that they are giving local customers a sneak peek.

“The man who will wear Icon is a masculine and sophisticated gentleman,” explains Carlos Benaim, the perfumer responsible for its notes of cardamon, Italian Bergamot and Lavender De Provence. [The scent is] the perfect expression of natural refinement, a translation of the luxurious and classic heritage of the dunhill house, with, what’s more, a touch of modernity,” he adds. dunhill has already set curiosity alight with its rumors of a fragrance release back in December of last year and, accompanied by a campaign fronted by model Andrew Cooper and shot by Annie Liebowitz, it’s certain that the scent will be very much in demand.

Icon will be released globally in March, which will also coincide with the fragrance’s distribution to other department stores and locales further afield in the UK.
