Chanel Installation at Mall of the Emirates Showcases Traditional Middle Eastern Architecture

News | January 3, 2015

Currently on view at Mall of the Emirates is Chanel’s latest art installation. Featuring large lit cubes that seem to cascade from the ceiling of the Fashion Dome and which highlight Chanel’s customary arabesque patterns, the installation fuses fashion and art and was inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s cruise collection 2015, which was shown in Dubai this past May.

Mall of the Emirates, a luxury shopping destination by Majid Al Futtaim, is quickly becoming a pivotal place in the city in which to stage such art and luxury collaborations.
