Fortnum & Mason to Present Tennis at the Emirates Palace
Iconic British brand Fortnum & Mason has been announced as the headline sponsor of Tennis at The Palace, a quintessentially British garden party from 12-14 March featuring exhibition tennis from former Grand Slam legends. Set in the lavish surroundings of Emirates Palace, the event will also be supported by luxury quarterly publication Simply Abu Dhabi.
The inaugural Tennis at The Palace, to be hosted in Abu Dhabi, will combine world-class grass court tennis, provided by some of the game’s greats including Richard Krajicek, Pat Cash and Younes El Aynaoui, along with first class hospitality.
British tennis legend Tim Henman, famed for his elegant serve-and-volley game, will be joining the event’s line up in March. Henman was the first player from the United Kingdom since the 1970s to reach the semi-finals of the Wimbledon Men’s Singles Championship. He reached six Grand Slam semi-finals and won 11 ATP titles, including the Paris Masters in 2003.
