The event was in celebration of Coach’s new store design, which was unveiled on November 14th after four-and-a-half months of renovation. The 3,909 square foot space (including 2,747 square foot of selling space) was developed by Vevers in partnership with world renowned creative firm Studio Sofield, led by Designer and President William Sofield. Its main architectural elements include a two-story high glass-block façade supported by massive steel I-beams, a double height entry and bronze signage and logo. The store interiors consist of iron spot brick pavers, reclaimed heart-pine wood flooring with custom hand-tufted wool carpeting in Men’s and Women’s rooms.
The store will be updated from season to season, swapping out pieces of furniture, artwork and other decorative touches, to be as intune as possible with Vevers’ collection of the moment.
