Peyton and Byrne announce the re-launch and reopening of The Wallace Restaurant

Peyton and Byrne have announced the relaunch and reopening of The Wallace Restaurant at The Wallace Collection in Manchester Square, London, following a significant refurbishment programme.

The expansive but serene ambience of the restaurant dining space is as close as possible to al fresco without being outdoors – the courtyard is filled with natural light and dotted with tall trees and sculptures creating a bright and airy atmosphere.

Enjoy the surroundings while indulging in seasonal dishes including Pine-smoked partridge with cereals, green tea and cauliflower, Chick pea gnocchi, sprouting broccoli, chillies and Scottish pheasant, red cabbage, Jerusalem artichoke and cinnamon dust. Complete your meal with a deconstructed Tiramisu dessert including coffee parfait, mascarpone and chocolate tuile or choose from a selection of French cheeses all served with Peyton and Byrne breads.

Alternatively throughout the day, there is a more informal à la carte menu offering in the café area of the restaurant for those wanting a casual, lighter meal. Options include a range of quiches and salads from the counter and a spicy sausage and squid hot pot. There is also a large selection of Peyton and Byrne cakes and tarts available throughout the day as well as a classic afternoon tea offering.

The extensive wine list includes a wide selection of French wines both served by the bottle and by the glass. Various cocktails, both classic and contemporary, are also available together with a selection of fresh fruit juices and smoothies. On Friday and Saturday evenings the bar offers a tapas menu including Octopus and black olive crumble and Roasted squash and goats curd tortilla.

Oliver Peyton comments: “I am delighted that the Wallace Collection have extended our contract as we relaunch the restaurant with a new look and delicious menu. There truly is nothing more pleasant then dining among such great pieces of art in central London. Our modern European menu has something for all tastes and is a wonderful experience throughout the week especially on Friday and Saturday evenings”.
