Harper’s Bazaar to Open Branded Eatery in the UAE
After Condé Nast International launched the Vogue-branded café in The Dubai Mall just over a year ago, another international publishing house is launching a similar fashion magazine branded café in the world’s hot spot for luxury spending: Harper’s Bazaar.
Hearst Magazines International, Harper’s Bazaar’s publishing house, is set to partner with Marka PJSC, a Dubai-based retail operator focusing on acquisitions, retail concepts and franchise acquisitions in the UAE, to open the concept in November 2015. According to the plan, after the first café is complete, Marka will debut nine more across the Middle East through 2020.
