A-line never looked so flattering and it seems that the ’60s are finally enjoying a long-awaited renaissance. With winter comes a need to conform to certain colours, cuts or patterns but mixing up textures this season has become a London favourite for keeping things fresh with minimal effort. Faux furs and silks, leather fringing and wool—the combinations are endless and this trend is easy to emulate even in the smallest details of your outfit and through accessories such as bags and shoes.
Flat Attack

This season though it seems we won’t be listening to those words of wisdom as comfort defiantly takes centre stage. Leave your stiletto heels that make you look about as stable as Bambi on ice at home and embrace the ever-practical flat loafer. Brilliant with any outfit, flats in fresh white tones will become your best friend for adding an unexpected pop of colour to brighten up a dull day.

Londoners are known to be eclectic dressers, always ready to experiment and ever the style chameleons. And despite the fact that practical shoes might be in this season, decadence is definitely not disappearing. On the contrary, faux furs are awash in the capital and it’s not hard to see why. Use them to wrap up and layer over a look, adding an instant touch of glamour. Going all out in a cropped faux fur jacket can create a striking silhouette or, for something more practical, opt for a faux fur stole or collar that can effortlessly make an outfit pop.
