Mall of the Emirates ‘World of Fashion 2014’ Kicks Off to a Glamourous Start

Mall of the Emirates’ `World of Fashion 2014′ officially opened with an impressive show by Harvey Nichols, with the international luxury lifestyle brand giving spectators a glimpse of the fashion essentials that everyone needs every season. The night culminated with models rocking the pieces with 28 looks from high street brands and local designers.

Among the highlights were Elie Tahari’s new collection which marked the celebration of its first boutique situated in Mall of the Emirates, BCBG by Max Azria, which showcased edgy designs embodying a genius mix of European and American allure. There was also a special initiative held by Tiffany & Co. presenting the designs of the finalists of the Student Fashion Design Competition. Established fashion retailers such as Etoile and Harvey Nichols were the showstoppers in the opening and closing nights. A dedicated children’s show featured fashion brands like Roberto Cavalli Junior, Miss Blumarine and Katakeet.
