Collections and Design Director Angelo Ruggeri has chosen to reveal the complexity of the female form through a filter, a mask with sinuous lines that becomes a decorative element on a black suede sandal with gold edging in an ideal synthesis of his romantic and surreal vision.   These elegant and innovative designs play a game of contrasts and illusions expressed through purity of line, traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail – all elements that have been part of the brand’s distinctive codes. Light suede and velvet petals appear on sandals with interiors in contrasting tones which, superimposed, catch the light with impressive three-dimensional effects. In addition, the icon of Sergio Rossi’s aesthetics, the Mermaid, emanates beguiling femininity in sculptured sandals with graded sequins embroidered on tulle that evoke the gold and silver metallic reflections of the scales of this fascinating mythological creature.
