Gucci Sponsors Giant Steps Charity Classic

Gucci was the presenting sponsor of the Sonoma Horse Park Giant Steps Charity Classic Six Bar and Gala on Saturday, August 2. This was the second year Gucci partnered with Sonoma Horse Park and Giant Steps Charity Classic.

Guests arrived one by one for the high-end equine event, some clad head-to toe in Gucci, including Vanessa Getty, Christina Getty, Sloan and Roger Barnett, Maggie Grace, Gina and Dave Pell and Carly Bechtel.

Gucci is well-established in the global sport of show jumping; in addition to presenting the annual Gucci Paris Masters, the luxury fashion house proudly sponsors top riders Edwina Tops-Alexander and Jessica Springsteen.

Now in its fifth year, Giant Steps Charity Classic showcases top equestrians from up-and-coming junior riders to some of our nation’s best. The prize money has increased to over $140,000, and each evening boasts a featured competition and event, all of which benefit the programs at Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center. The two title events of the weekend are the Six Bar and Gala presented by Gucci on Saturday evening and the $40,000 Shaklee Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon.
