Style Saves Hosts Fundraising Fashion Show At Swim Week
Fashion and philanthropy joined forces with the mission of "building confidence through clothes" for Style Saves' Miami Swim Week fourth annual fashion show fundraiser.
Fashion and philanthropy joined forces once again for Style Saves‘ fourth annual fashion show fundraiser during Miami Swim Week. Guests celebrated at Soho Beach House with cocktails before and after the runway shows, where FORD models walked the runway donned in Trina Turk, Kai Lani, Ola Feroz, Santika, Style Mafia, and looks from ishine365.
Those unable to attend still had the opportunity to support the cause via an international online auction presented by CharityBuzz.com, which auctioned off items such as a weekend start at the W South Beach, dinner at Zuma, artwork by Christopher Makos, among others.
The charity was founded by Rachael Russell with the mission of “building confidence through clothes.” The proceeds all go towards hosting a back-to-school event which allows underprivileged kids to “shop” in a department store setting for new school clothes and accessories. This year’s back-to-school event will be hosted at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and will reach out to more than 500 Miami-Dade public school students.
