One of San Francisco’s most iconic hotels has received a face-lift.  San Francisco’s storied Huntington Hotel atop Nob Hill debuted the new The Scarlet Huntington last month. This whimsical new “head to toe” makeover will kindle the imagination and take guests on an adventure for the senses.

The Singapore-based hospitality group who has made this makeover possible is Grace International.  Their Scarlet Hotel in Singapore is described as uninhibited, bold and naughty – and the same goes for its San Francisco counterpart. Guests rooms are designed to stimulate the senses.  Eclectic lamps set a dramatic mood with daringly dim lighting, while bathrooms feature hand carved vanities, lighted mirrors and a carefully curated selection of exquisite bath products.

Guests who knew the former space may find that this face-lift is a 180-degree departure from the original.  But not to worry! The renovation has left the beloved Big 4 Restaurant and Nob Hill Spa intact. Also, paying homage to the hotel’s legacy, the Scarlet Huntington preserves the integrity of the building and still upholds a tradition of high standards and gracious service, and the majority of the Huntington Hotel’s devoted staff has returned after the opening.
