Brody Jenner Makes His DJ Debut at Hyde
Reality star Brody Jenner made his Sin City DJ premiere at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas.
Once primarily known for his roles on hit reality shows including MTV’s “The Hills” and E!’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Jenner’s passion for music recently led him to pursue a career DJing. He’s made a name for himself with a nightclub residency in Atlantic City and buzzed-about shows in major cities including Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas, but last night, Jenner took on what has become the DJ capital of the world – Las Vegas – with his first-ever Sin City set at Hyde Bellagio.
Sporting a blue suit accented by a black T-shirt and trucker hat, Jenner arrived at the sleek night spot just after midnight alongside stunning super model girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter. After dining at Double Barrel Roadhouse at the Monte Carlo, Brody’s entourage headed to Hyde Bellagio, where the budding DJ was met on the red carpet by screaming fans and stopped for interviews and posing for photos before heading inside the packed Fountain-side hotspot.
Once inside, the group, which included Brody’s DJ partner William Lifestyle, made their way to a plush VIP booth overlooking the dance floor as Hyde’s performance artists gave them a warm welcome with flashing lights and giant letters spelling out “B-R-O-D-Y.” The crowd erupted into a roar when the emcee announced, “Make some noise for Brody Jenner!”
DJ Direct got the party started with some bumping beats, but Brody was eager to take the turntables. Pausing only for a moment at his table to snap photos and enjoy a drink with friends, Brody made his way to the DJ booth as the crowd went wild.
Brody opened his set with a mix of the popular “Turn Down for What” by DJ Snake and Lil John as showers of confetti rained over the dance floor. He continued to drop heavy hip-hop beats by artists including Drake, Iggy Azalea, Lorde, Sage The Gemini and more – even mixing in “Ni**as in Paris” by new brother-in-law Kanye West. Kaitlynn showed support for her beau, dancing alongside in the DJ booth and even taking a few spins on the turntable when Brody sweetly pulled her in close.
Later in the evening, Brody thanked the crowd and Hyde Bellagio for hosting him before mixing up his style with rock throwbacks such as “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana and “Livin’ On A Prayer” by Bon Jovi. Brody brought down the house when he announced, “We’re gonna switch it up right now,” launching club hit “Summer” by Calvin Harris, the first EDM track of his set, as partygoers went wild.
In a swirl of confetti, cocktails and club-goers, the party raged on into the early hours of the morning as Brody and William Lifestyle kept the beats pumping from behind the turntables.
