Seven days, seven cocktails.  Why not?  Every week is cocktail week in San Francisco because mixologists are always doing it big. But summer is an extra special time when bartenders get creative, and exotic fruits and herbs make their guest appearance behind the best bars in the city. Here are our picks for 7 must-try cocktails this week!

Plum Sour and Scotch at Hakkasan

July 27 is National Scotch Day!  Hakkasan is offering guests an impressive and extensive menu of more than 65 scotches, featuring rarities such as Benriach 30yr Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Dalmore 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Highland Park 1968, and Balvenie 30yr Single Malt Scotch Whisky, just to name a few. If a scotch neat isn’t your beverage of choice, Hakkasan’s signature Plum Sour cocktail featuring Balvenie 12yr single malt whiskey is a great way to cap the day.

Hard Rock Cafe of San Francisco is celebrating the summertime fog with a new selection of cool cocktails served in a coffee-press vessel that infuses fruit into the drink. But don’t wait too long to try them! These summer beverages are available through Labor Day, leaving just a couple more months to sip and enjoy.

Tequila and Ice Cream at La Condesa

Just in time for the hottest days of summer, Chef Mortenson – an expert in the art of ice cream making – will begin a new program pairing his handspun frozen creations with some of the world’s best Tequilas. Pairings will include combinations like Cazadores Repasado Tequila with Honey Vanilla ice cream or Partida Anejo with Black Sesame ice cream, and will be available throughout July and August. Mmmmmm hmmmmm!
