Zachary Scott Competes to be Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s ‘Man of the Year’
Zachary Scott is Miami’s Hautest “it” boy who is making real moves in the Magic City. At a mere twenty five years old, this entrepreneur is the driving force behind Superhive, as a principal partner in the luxury smart home technology firm. You may have seen him around town with Haute Living Partners Kamal Hotchandani, Seth Semilof, John and Susan Turchin, Alan and Ruth Zelcer, Patrick McMullan and even P-Diddys mom, Janice Combs. He’s what I like to call ‘global.’
I just received the news that Mr. Scott was nominated by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to be “Man of the Year,” among four other candidates who are also up for this title. LLS is the world’s largest non-profit blood cancer research fund with over $1 Billion invested in research alone. What is the make-it-or-break-it deal maker? Well, the five males, and five female candidates are put up to a challenge, of who can raise the most monies for the organization in ten weeks. Zachary tells Haute Living that “On Friday, June 6th, 500+ of Miami’s Hautest will be gathering at the Intercontinental Hotel for the sold out event on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I have been working diligently to help people get well. My journey started with Stand with Maceo, when I was in Los Angeles developing Superhive. I helped raise funds with NEXT Modeling Agency for Maceo, a seven year old boy born with Cerebral Palsy whose family needed capital for robotic therapy, which would give Maceo the ability to walk one day. My client Dennis Crowley heard about the success of our fundraiser and happens to be on the board of LLS and asked me to get involved. I took on the challenge and I am trying to surpass my personal goals.”
Even though this event is sold out, Scott tells me you can still donate to help him become ‘Man of the Year,’ however, he says “regardless of who wins, we are all winners for raising money for this incredible organization.”
