Haute Hotel: The Epiphany Is The Place To Be This Summer
What do you get when you mix one part hip, one part tech, one part business and all parts luxury? The uber cool Epiphany Hotel, of course. One of only two hotels to open downtown Palo Alto in more than a decade, The Epiphany brought a sexy, chic vibe to the affluent streets of Palo Alto.
The eight-story Joie de Vivre property, which opened on March 1st, sits at 180 Hamilton Avenue. This address just so happens to be next door to one of Facebook’s first headquarters, a few blocks from Stanford University, and surrounded by Silicon Valley’s hottest VC firms.
That said, it is no surprise that this hotel was designed to inspire. Geared to intuitively meet the needs of the Valley, each room is fully equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet, a G-Link dock for streaming movies and games from any mobile device to a large-screen Samsung TV, an ergonomic desk chair, honor bar and dry bar, and Illy espresso maker.
Business amenities aside, the Epiphany also caters to hip and haute luxury travelers alike. Rooms and suites are furnished with artisan amenities, including Malin + Goetz toiletries, Frette linens and Turkish towels and bathrobes. For those who want to unwind in the ultimate lap of luxury: look further than the rooftop, where you’ll be find unreal views of the Santa Cruz Mountains and neighboring Los Gatos, all within the comfort of a hospitality suite.
Finally, who can resist the warm-weather buzz of Epiphany’s restaurant, Lure + Till. Headed by chef Patrick Kelly, formerly of San Francisco’s Gitane and Napa’s Angele, the bar & restaurant have been happening ever since its opening on March 1. No doubt, with its open-air seating and view of the gorgeous outdoor crowd, this breezy new eatery is the place to be this summer.
