Audemars Piguet Further Honors Tony Awards Partnership with Time Capsule

Audemars Piguet acted as the presenting sponsor for the 68th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday for the sixth consecutive year. Broadway superstars, like Harvey Feinstein from Casa Valentina and Norm Lewis from The Phantom of the Opera, donned timepieces from the luxe brand, but that’s not where the sponsorship ends. Audemars Piguet has developed a time capsule to commemorate this year’s Tony Awards nominees, including Idina Menzel, Chris O’Dowd and Bryan Cranston.

The contents of the highly-anticipated Audemars Piguet Tony Awards Time Capsule will be kept safe and sound by the American Theatre Wing and revealed in seven years at the Tony Awards 75th Anniversary. Exclusive footage of the stars and memorabilia will be available only on Chideo (charity + video), the first ever interactive charity broadcast network. Funds raised through Chideo will benefit the Broadway League Foundation’s Family First Nights and the American Theatre Wing.

A list of donated items include sheet music signed by Tom Kitt and donated by Idina Menzel, and pet mouse donated by Chris O’Dowd.
