Haute Event: Ludacris Puts on a Show at 1 OAK

After the big fight, music superstar and actor Ludacris performed and incredible show at 1 OAK at the Mirage to celebrate last Saturday night. Before hitting the club’s red carpet Ludacris took photos in the nightclub’s special bottle presentation cars backstage — calling it a new, fun pre-show tradition for him.

Then it was off to the 1 OAK red carpet. Clad in a red T-shirt, black pants and red sneakers, Ludacris happily posed for pics for photographers and fans before being escorted inside to the owner’s table. At the table, he was joined by former UFC champion George St-Pierre and legendary Bay-area artist Too $hort.

He then grabbed the mic and kicked off his set with a mash-up of some of his biggest hit songs including “Southern Hospitality,” “All I Do is Win,” “Move,” and the club banger “Yeah.” He also brought Too $hort to the mic for a special birthday shout out to singer Chris Brown and performance of a of Brown’s current smash single “Loyal.” In light of recent events, he also took time to during his show to shout of the L.A. Clippers. After his high-energy performance, he returned to his table and celebrated with party-goers until 4 a.m.
