Haute 100 SF Update: Joe Montana and Jerry Rice Will Pay Farewell to Candlestick With ‘Legends of Candlestick’ Game
NFL Hall of Famers Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and their San Francisco 49er teammates Roger Craig and Dwight Clark will face off in a flag football game against a team of NFL stars captained by NFL Hall of Famer Dan Marino. “Legends of Candlestick,” the ultimate flag football showdown, is presented by HP on Saturday, July 12, 2014.
To open Candlestick Park’s unforgettable football finale,San Francisco Police and San Francisco Firefighters will have a flag football competition against each other preceding the NFL stars’ game. SF Police Chief Greg Suhr and SF Fire Chief Joanne Hayes-White have agreed that their game’s winner will have dinner served by the losing team at EPIC Roasthouse in San Francisco.
Tickets range from $30 to $50 and can be purchased online.
