Haute 100 NY Update: Chelsea Clinton Wants To Encourage Healthy Debate with Her Child
As the daughter of two very political parents, Chelsea Clinton is well-versed in the art of debate. So much so, that the 34-year-old mom-to-be says that she was already debating her parents when she was 6 years old!
“I hope to imbue our children with that same kind of sense that it’s important to have an opinion…and to be able to defend it,” she revealed during Town & Country’s Philanthropy Summit earlier this week.
Though Clinton displayed an interest in politics and philanthropy at an early age, she ever-so-politically revealed that she’ll support whatever career endeavors her child decides to pursue. “If they want to make an artistic contribution to the world, that will make me equally as happy as if they want to make a philanthropic or political one,” she explained.
