CALISTOGA RANCH
580 Lommel Rd
Calistoga, CA 94515
(707) 254-2800
If you’re looking for a secluded, luxurious retreat, then Calistoga Ranch is the place for you. At this tranquil oasis, mineral pools, hiking trails, a two-acre vineyard, vegetable and herb gardens, a wine cave, two pools and a spa are just some of the amazing amenities you’ll enjoy. When you actually arrive at your lodge, you’ll certainly be amazed by the ultimate open-air living experience. We recommend staying at the Estate Lodge, a celebrity favorite for it’s swanky amenities and complete seclusion. It has two master bedrooms with outdoor rain showers, a private deck with outdoor fireplaces, a hot tub, a gourmet kitchen and an outdoor dining space for entertaining. For those who book the Estate Lodge, you’ll have exclusive access to a Mercedes-Benz in case you wish to leave the property – but we seriously can’t imagine that you’d want to.

Napa, CA 94559

The Carneros Inn is a picture-perfect setting for a local stay-cation, a romantic weekend or a fun-filled getaway with girlfriends. At this hidden gem from PlumpJack known for it’s approachable luxury, the charm of the rustic outdoors is married perfectly with sleek, modern interiors. Unwind with amazing amenities that include an infinity-edge pool surrounded by the rolling green hills of the Valley, a world-class spa, delectable dining at FARM, Boon Fly or the private Hilltop Dining Room where you can access sweeping views of nearby vineyards and the Napa countryside. For those looking for top-of-the-line accommodations, go for a cottage with two master suites, where indoor and outdoor living spaces are connected by a “disappearing wall” of glass doors that open to an alfresco living room with a fireplace. You can also luxuriate in your own private patio garden complete with a gas barbecue and in-ground spa.  Sure, you can enjoy an amazing stay inside of your cottage, but we recommend you head outdoors as well, especially at sunrise. Trust us, the views don’t get more epic.

AUBERGE DU SOLEIL
180 Rutherford Hill Rd,
Rutherford, CA 94573

No luxury resort list would be complete without the stunning Auberge du Soleil, a French chateau-style resort that boasts spectacular views, exquisite rooms, a tennis court, a sculpture garden and a Michelin-starred restaurant to boot. This sprawling property sits on 33 acres of vineyards and olive groves, so it’s no surprise that views from anywhere on the property are spectacular. Try one of the new Maison San Tropez suites, where French doors open onto an oversized private patio with outdoor bathtub and rain shower, all surrounded by a secluded garden. If you really want to go big, then go for the Private Maisons – the Champagne Private Maison and the Loire Private Maison. These are private villas with spacious living rooms, bedrooms and outdoor plunge pools on terraces overlooking the Valley. Top off your stay with a gourmet dinner at the Restaurant at Auberge, one of wine country’s first great establishments.

Bardessono is our pick for the Valley’s most eco-chic hotel. This elegant, Platinum LEED certified property is continually earning top honors for its commitment to the environment and for its dedication to excellent customer service.  Among its many perks, the property includes an outstanding concierge service, a spa and rooftop pool. Tucked away and spread out among the hills above St. Helena lies Meadowood, Napa Valley’s first luxury resort. At this private 250-acre estate, you’ll find it all – golf, tennis, croquet, hiking, swimming, fitness, spa, wine education. It also boasts one of only two Michelin three-star restaurant dining experiences on the West Coast with its Restaurant at Meadowood, helmed by the innovative Christopher Kostow. With so many activities at your fingertips, you may prefer to spend most of your time outside, but it would be a mistake not to enjoy the lavish lodges located in a private, forested setting. Go for the Estate Suite, where you’ll be absolutely taken with the outdoor terrace, luxurious bathroom, wood-burning fireplace, indoor and outdoor showers and deep soaking tubs. While you’re here, enjoy an in-room spa treatment. Having the massage come to you: that’s the best amenity of all.

755 Silverado Trail N,
Calistoga, CA 94515

This contemporary, laid-back property is a wonderful place to relax, refresh and indulge in Calistoga. For adventurous guests who love food and wine and aren’t afraid of heights, we recommend checking out the Helicopter Vineyard Tour, the ultimate vineyard dining experience offering an aerial view of Calistoga’s picturesque vineyards and wineries. The helicopter lands atop Spring Mountain, where guests receive a private tour of the Fisher Vineyards estate winery with a member of the Fisher family. The tour is followed by an exclusive wine-paired lunch prepared by Solage’s Michelin-starred Executive Chef Brandon Sharp. Following the tour, we recommend taking advantage of the most indulgent accommodation on the property and booking the one-bedroom Capella Suite. This suite is fully equipped with a private patio, outdoor jetted hot tub, steam shower, fireplace and deluxe bathtub. It’s truly the perfect way to wind down after a day of pure extravagance.
