Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons adds independent watch maker Laurent Ferrier to premium portfolio offerings

Laurent Ferrier watches reveal a classic design and offer updated horological fundamentals through a renewal of origins, positioning it in an exclusive circle of mechanical Haute Horlogerie. The timepieces are now available for the first time in the United Arab Emirates at Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.

Each Laurent Ferrier watch stems from the same approach based on five essential characteristics including a Neoclassical Aesthetic Appeal, which reveals the historical roots of the case designs in 19th century pocket watches. These were shaped like pebbles (galet in French). Laurent Ferrier watches emphasis simplicity, elegance and above all readability, resulting in ultra-legible dials and a “ball-shaped” winding-crown that is particularly easy to handle. The other characteristics include an avant-garde construction, a high-level of finishing, a chronometer-worthy performance, extremely limited production, with all the movements developed and assembled in Laurent Ferrier’s Geneva workshop.
