Zaha Hadid Egg Sculpture On Display in NYC

News | April 3, 2014

Legendary architect Zaha Hadid is taking the New York art scene by storm! The celebrated architect—and recipient of the prestigious Pritzker Architecture Award—has created a custom egg sculpture for the Fabergé New York Boutique.

Entitled “Liquid Skyline,” the egg will be on display at the Madison Avenue flagship until April 17 as part of a city-wide public art display. “Liquid Skyline investigates the relation between natural form and urban fabric, resulting in a fluid and unexpected skyline,” Hadid revealed in a statement.

For those New Yorkers looking to own their own piece of Fabergé luxury, the company has created a city-wide egg hunt with three extraordinary jeweled creations as top prizes. Simply download TheBiggEggHunt smartphone app and follow the instructions to “check in” at various locations throughout Manhattan. The more eggs you uncover, the better your odds of winning a prize.
