5th Annual DVF AWARDS

Fierce fashionista Diane von Furstenberg visited the United Nations on April 4 to celebrate the 5th Annual DVF Awards, which recognized six extraordinary women for their leadership and commitment to bettering the world. In addition to several high-profile presenters such as Sarah Jessica Parker and Iman, the event also paid tribute to Gloria Steinem for her tireless dedication to instilling leadership, strength and courage in other women by presenting her with the Lifetime Leadership Award. Musician Alicia Keys also received the Inspiration Award for her ongoing efforts to create positive change in her community. Von Furstenberg and The Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation have hosted the philanthropic soiree since 2010 and gifted each award winner $50,000 towards the cause of their choice.
