March 20th was an unforgettable evening for the ODC Dance Company. The modern dance group celebrated it’s 43rd season and the world premiere of Boulders and Bones, the latest Opening Gala production from ODC.
The event, hosted by Lynn Feintech, CoChair Becky Saeger and Honorary Chair Eleanor Coppola, kicked off with a gala dinner at the St. Regis Hotel followed by a performance of Boulders and Bones, choreographed by Brenda Way and KT Nelson, inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, (with live music by cellist Zoe Keating). The festivities continued at the St. Regis with a non-stop Bhangra dance party. Guests mingled while enjoying cocktails, wine and delectable desserts. Proceeds from the event benefitted the creation of new choreography.
