Longines Commemorates Another Year as Official Timekeeper for the Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup 2014

Now in its 10th edition, Dubai’s Beach Polo Cup once again paired up with prominent Swiss watchmaker, Longines, the official timekeeper and official watch of the event.

The Julius Baer Beach Polo Cup is an internationally celebrated social event highlighted in every major sporting and social calendar. After two exhilarating days of competition, it was the determined father-son duo, Mohammed Al Habtoor and Habtoor Al Habtoor, along with their Argentine teammate Guillermo Cuitino, of the Vistajet Bombardier team, who emerged triumphant. Longines bestowed the exultant trio with three elegant timepieces from the brand’s Conquest Classic line.

Set in steel, the stunning timepiece was awarded to the champion players. It is inspired by the brand’s striking Conquest Classic line and is a fitting tribute to the chronographs produced from 1881 for race-goers and jockeys in New York. The prize model has a diameter of 41 millimeters and is fitted with a column-wheel movement developed and produced by ETA exclusively for Longines.
