Haute Time’s Ladies Watch of the Week: Chopard Happy Sport Tourbillon Joaillerie

This week, Haute Time chose the The Happy Sport Tourbillon Joiallerie as The Haute Time Ladies Watch of the Week. Introduced during Baselworld, this stunning timepiece combines the Happy Sport playfulness with a Chopard’s talents for high jewelry and watchmaking, boasting a Chopard L.U.C. 02.16-L tourbillon movement with a 9 day power reserve.

The 42mm case, which is the largest so far to join the Happy Sport collection, is done in 18k white gold and is fully set with stunning diamonds. Chopard uses a beautiful snow setting technique on the dial. 36 trapeze-cut diamonds surround the bezel and baguettes topped with a briolette cut diamond adorn on the crown.

The spectacular dial is fully set with diamonds as well, including the tourbillon bridge, creating a truly beautiful high jewelled look for this Happy Sport model. Of course, as a member of The Happy Sport Collection, the 7 famous diamonds can be seen, floating happily between two sapphire crystals on the dial. The hours and minutes represented on the center dial, marked by blued hands and a small seconds hand is present on the tourbillon cage at 6 o’clock on the dial.
