Christian Dior To Reveal Cruise Collection in Brooklyn This May
Form dining to nightlife, Brooklyn has been giving Manhattan a run for its money. And lately, the adjacent borough has become the destination for high-fashion as well.
In the wake of Alexander Wang‘s Fall/Winter fashion show at the expansive Duggal Greenhouse space in February, luxury brand Christian Dior has decided to show its 2015 Cruise collection at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on May 7. Quite a departure from last year’s cruise show at Monaco’s Hôtel de Paris!
“We wanted the show to feel very New York, and the Navy Yard’s view and space captures the city,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
