Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Jaquet Droz Paillonnè Petite Heure Minute

Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is part of a collection just launched at Baselworld by Jaquet Droz, The Paillonnè Petite Heure Minute.

As part of a three part series of special pieces launched by Jaquet Droz each featuring an enamelling technique called Paillonnè, which uses layers of clear enamel over pieces of gold or silver to create stunning designs on the dial of the timepiece. The dial of The Petite Heure Minute is hand created with a vibrant blue grand feu dial with guillochè and a beautiful floral design. Gold chapter rings surround the hours and minutes sub-dial, with Roman numerals and blue hands creating a beautiful balance on the dial.

The 39mm case is 18k red-gold and houses a Frederic Piguet 1153 automatic movement. Fitted with a black alligator strap, the Petite Heure Minute is a stunning addition to the Jaquet Droz collection, and is part of a Limited release of 8 special pieces.
