Carmelo Anthony’s Haute Time Watch of the Day: Glashütte Original PanoMaticInverse
Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is a new release from Baselworld, The new PanoMaticInverse by Glashütte Original.
This new timepiece features so many great details, one of course is the inverting positioning of the movement’s components to exhibit the duplex swan-neck on the dial side instead of on the back of the timepiece. This engineering accomplishment creates a beautiful design aspect on the dial.
The PanoMaticInverse is powered by a Calibre 91-02 automatic winding movement equipped with a 42-hour power reserve, housed in a 42mm case. The hours and minutes are displayed on a smaller sized, center dial, with a small seconds dial, just below that and the Panorama Date display as well. The elegant gold hour markers combined with the blued hands, blued screws and rubies add a wonderful design element to the rhodium plated three-quarter plate making up the dial and bringing it all to life with each beat.
The Glashütte Original PanoMaticInverse is available in a red-gold case or a stainless steel version, both come fitted with Louisiana alligator Nubuck leather straps and matching fold over clasps.
