Valentino Opens with Fabulously Chic Fête

Not even a stormy San Francisco night could stop the most fabulous crowd from showing up in style to the largest designer store opening of San Francisco. On February 26, Valentino celebrated the opening of its new four-story San Francisco flagship store on Grant Avenue. Valentino USA President Wendy Kahn along with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA)’s Modern Ball 2014 Chair Christine Lamond celebrated the SFMOMA’s upcoming fund-raising gala taking place on April 30.

Hundreds of glamorous guests explored the 10,000 square foot Valentino flagship and the contemporary vision developed by Creative Directors, Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli in cooperation with architect, David Chipperfield.  Naturally dahhling, it wouldn’t be Valentino without the who’s who of San Francisco who showed up ready to play in the designer’s gorgeous pieces. VIP guests wearing Valentino included Vanessa Getty, Connie Nielson, Alison Pincus, Todd and Katie Traina, Sonya Molodetskaya and Komal Shah.

More VIPs, including Joy Bianchi, Yves Behar and Sabrina Buell, Zack Bogue, Mayor Willie Brown, Dolly Chammas, Alicia Engstrom, Robert J. Fisher, Denise Hale, Kelsey and David Lamond, Marissa Mayer, Carlos Souza, Jeremy Stoppelman and Alexis and Trevor Traina were on hand looking chic and stylish at the fabulous fête.
