Stella McCartney & Angelina Jolie Team Up For Children’s Collection
Children’s fashion is getting the A-list treatment! The lovely Angelina Jolie and Stella McCartney are joining forces to design a new children’s clothing line inspired by the Disney film, Maleficent.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney growing up, as was my mother, and I grew up watching all the films, like most kids did,” McCartney told Women’s Wear Daily. “When the opportunity presented itself and I was invited by Angelina Jolie to visit the film set, I jumped at the chance.”
The chic collection includes eight styles for girls and boys aged between four and 14, ranging from tee-shirts and tennis shoes to princess dresses and sandals. Even better—ten percent of sales will go towards SOS Children’s Villages, which provides homes for children in need.
The line will hit stores at the end of April, just in time to create buzz for the film’s release on May 30.
