Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour Partners with Women of Tomorrow for Donna Karan Kickoff Party

The Donna Karan Trunk Show brought together over 75 of Miami’s most fashionable to kick off off the countdown to the designer’s personal appearance and Spring Runway show. The evening was hosted by Deborah Slack, Vice President and General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue, in partnership with The Women of Tomorrow Hosting Committee.

Women of Tomorrow is a program that pairs highly accomplished professional women with small groups of at-risk public high school girls for monthly school-based mentoring sessions to promote success in school and future endeavors. The hosting committee was comprised of Lana Bernstein, Teresita Haskett, Carol Iacovelli, Marisa Toccin Lucas, Dr. Krista Rosenberg, Laurie Silvers, Marita Srebnick, Jennifer Valoppi, Dr. Diane Walder and Suzy Buckley Woodward.

Guests shopped the new Donna Karan Spring 2014 Collection at Saks Bal Harbour while sipping on liquid nitrogen cocktails and listening to beats by DJ YSL. The event served as the official pre-party to get shoppers excited for the Donna Karan show, being held March 13 at the SLS hotel in Miami Beach.
