Haute 100 LA Update: Larry Ellison to be Honored by CAMM
Larry Ellison will be honored as a rebel with a cause this March.
The Oracle Corporation CEO will be celebrated by the Center for Applied Molecular Medicine (CAMM) and the USC Norris Westside Cancer Center (WCC) at this year’s Rebel With a Cause gala at Paramount Pictures.
The event, since its inception in 2012, has raised millions of dollars for the cancer research done by David B. Agus, M.D.
This year’s gala is understandably grand given who it’s honoring: it will be co-chaired by Paramount CEO and Chairman Brad Grey, late night host Jimmy Kimmel will serve as Master of Ceremonies, while musical entertainment will be provided by Barry Manilow, Pharrell Williams and David Foster.
Past honorees have included Sumner Redstone and Murray Gell-Man.
