Katies Holmes To Star in New ABC Drama Pilot

It’s been more than a decade since Katie Holmes has starred in a television show, but the 35-year-old actress is planning to return to the silver screen very, very soon. According to new reports by The Hollywood Reporter, Holmes is slated to star in the pilot episode of a new drama on ABC produced by Richard LaGravenese.

Though no specific details have been revealed about the new show, it will take place in New York City, where the actress lives with her daughter, Suri Cruise. Rufus Sewell will co-star in the untitled project, which has been described as “the love and rivalry between two equally matched, powerful socialites who play out their obsessive attraction to and seduction of each other through their manipulation of others.”

Before Holmes made waves with her marriage to Tom Cruise and luxury fashion label, Homes & Yang, she starred on the hit television show Dawson’s Creek, which hit airwaves in 1998.
