Haute Time Ladies Watch of the Week: Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Metropolitaine

The Tonda Metropolitaine, introduced at the SIHH in January, is an extensive new collection from Parmigiani Fleurier with both men’s and ladies’ models. For the ladies, this model represents the brand’s first round automatic watch for ladies. It contains the in-house automatic Caliber PF310 movement, with two series-coupled barrels for a 50-hour power reserve. The dial is finished in a flinqué guilloché pattern of tight spirals, and has been finished in an Amaranth color, a magenta-like red. A thin layer of red gold outlines the small seconds and date window, and the numerals and indexes are inlaid. The 34mm case is steel, and measures 8.65mm thin. It is fitted with an Hermès calfskin strap. The bezel is set with diamonds.
