Haute Event: Vinnie Paul Celebrates His 50th Birthday at Vinyl

Rock ‘n’ roll legend Vinnie Paul, best known as the drummer in the heavy metal group Hellyeah, hosted his 50th birthday bash inside Vinyl at the Hard Rock Hotel on Wednesday night.

As guests walked in, Las Vegas-based rock band Sin City Sinners joined by Slash bassist Todd Kerns performed a cover of Guns N’ Roses song “Welcome to the Jungle.” Attendees continued to hop on stage throughout the night including Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist DJ Ashba, LA Guns vocalist Phil Lewis, Papa Roach drummer Tony Palermo, Ace Frehley drummer Scot Coogan, Zowie Bowie performer Chris Phillips, Armored Saint and DC4 guitarist Jeff Duncan and more, to perform some of the greatest hits in rock ‘n’ roll history. Paul was seen having a great time and was shocked when a customized birthday cake shaped as a Hellyeah bass drum and drumsticks was presented to him.

Additional celebrity guests that were in attendance include Las Vegas Strip headliner Frankie Moreno, actor Brian Thomas, professional dancer Lacey Schwimmer, Asia frontman John Payne, Quiet Riot vocalist Paul Shortino, Whitesnake guitarist Doug Aldrich, Lynch Mob vocalist Andrew Freeman, musician Zachary ThroneFOX’s “American Idol” finalist Jasmine Trias, singer and magician Ben Stone and more.
