Haute Event: Naughty by Nature Performs at 1 OAK

Guests were taken back to the ’90s at 1 OAK at the Mirage with a special performance by old school hip-hop stars Naughty by Nature. Before their big performance, Naughty members Treach, Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee and friends visited the Stack at the Mirage.

After dinner, it was off to 1 OAK, where the guys posed for pics and fans on the red carpet. Inside, Naughty and crew took in the club scene and sipped on Hennessy and Grey Goose before blazing the mic. The trio kicked off the nightclub’s party “Flashback Fridays” with classics including, “The Message” by Grandmaster Flash and The Sugar Hill Gang’s “Rapper’s Delight,” taking partygoers on a musical journey through the history of hip-hop. Naughty also paid homage to the late greats Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G, as they played “I Get Around” and “Mo Money Mo Problems,” Naughty then performed their own hit songs including “O.P.P,” “Uptown Anthem,” “Feel Me Flow,” and the unforgettable party anthem “Hip Hop Hooray.” After Vegas, the group is headed back to New Jersey.

Also spotted, Super Bowl champion Cliff Avril of the Seattle Seahawks enjoying the scene.
