Former NYC Mayor Edward Koch To Be Honored on Anniversary of His Death

To honor the life and legacy of the late Edward Koch, several top city officials and media executives will gather on April 3 at the Harmonie Club for a tribute entitled “Memories of an Iconic New Yorker, Leader and Friend.” Hosted by Koch’s sister, Pat Koch Thaler, the event will mark the one-year anniversary of the former NY mayor’s death.

Several notable New Yorkers are expect to come out for the emotional event including former deputy mayor of economic policy and development Peter J. Solomon and NBC’s Gabe Pressman, CBS’ Marcia Kramer. Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat will also be honored for his public service. All proceeds raised throughout the day, will go towards the Edward I. Koch Center for Public Policy and Jewish Ethics at Beit Morasha in Jerusalem.
