Las Vegas entertainers joined retired professional basketball players including Metta World Peace out on the patio at Culinary Dropout at the Hard Rock Hotel to catch all the action of the college basketball games for a tournament special with FOXSports.com on Thursday.

The Jabbawockeez joined the fun and challenged the former Los Angeles Laker World Peace to a dance-off. Clad in Cookie Monster pajamas, World Peace showed off his skills and even puppeteered his plush Cookie Monster doll to emulate the iconic dance crew’s moves.

Former Mayor Oscar Goodman, flanked by two showgirls and holding his signature martini, stopped by and shared his picks for the first round including his upset selection of Harvard over the University of Cincinnati. He also gave his thoughts on what the hometown UNLV Rebels need to do to make an appearance in the big dance next year.

Other notable guests that came by Culinary Dropout included Strip performer Terry Fator, comedian Eddie Griffin and Carrie St. Louis, who currently portrays Sherrie in Rock of Ages at the Venetian. The group enjoyed the beautiful scenic views from the edgy gastropub’s patio overlooking the hotel pool and noshed on signature appetizers including antipasti, soft pretzels and provolone fondue and grilled cheese sliders.
