Blitzenbanger Incorporates Beer Tasting, Scavenger Hunter

It’s never too early in the warmer season for an outdoors beer tasting event, and this weekend Blitzenbanger returns to the base of Aspen Highlands with exactly that. Ten to 15 breweries will set up tents on Saturday, March 8 to offer unlimited beer tasting from the likes of Aspen Brewing Company, Bristol Brewing Company, Deschutes Brewery, Elevation Brewing Company, Oskar Blues Brewery and Palisade Brewery.

But it’s not just about the suds. The day starts with an on-mountain scavenger hunt at 9 a.m. and finishes with live music until 6 p.m., along with a ongoing prize giveaways and fat-bike demos. Blitzenbanger is an annual winter event hosted by KSPN. Tickets to the Brew-Au–where Hawaiian-inspired clothing is encouraged–are $20. For more information, visit Blitzenbanger.
