Andy Garcia And Jamie Foxx Get Stars On Miami’s New Walk Of Fame

Miami is following in Hollywood’s footsteps getting its own Walk of Fame in Bayside. The first inaugurees include Jamie Foxx, Andy Garcia and the director and cast of Rio 2, who were inducted on Friday March, 21 to what city officials hope will become a bona fide tourist attraction.

“I am honored for this merit because Miami is where all my dreams unfolded,” said Andy Garcia, who is from Miami and has Cuban roots.
The actors were also given City of Miami Ambassador of Art, Entertainment and Culture Awards and the keys to the City of Miami from Mayor Tony Regalado. 

The keys left the field wide open for Foxx to make a joke, “I plan to use this key to get in to certain restaurant and clubs,”  said the actor who made is serious acting debut here in Miami in Oliver Stone’s Any Given Sunday.
