Dutch DJ sensation Don Diablo made his debut at Light Nightclub at Mandalay Bay on Wednesday night, where he also celebrated his birthday.

Diablo and his management team arrived in Vegas from Los Angeles earlier in the evening and headed straight to Light for a sound check before his big night. He also visited Akira Back’s Kumi Japanese Restaurant + Bar at Mandalay Bay.

Then it was off to Light, where inside a special surprise awaited the birthday boy. As he arrived, Cirque du Soliel’s performers came down from the ceiling with a black Batman-themed cake topped with a mask, paying homage to Diablo’s new song “Black Mask” that amassed 100,000 clicks in one day. The cake was then given to another Cirque artist who walked the cake up to DJ booth to Diablo while the packed nightclub sang “Happy Birthday.” He then kicked off his set with the hottest electrics sounds including his new hit song “Black Mask” and an explosive remix of “California Love.” During his set partygoers went wild for his mix of “Royal” by Lorde and his smash hit “Starlight.”
