Photos: Daughtry Rocks the Chelsea for Valentine’s Day
Daughtry with special guest Beware of Darkness rocked the Mophie Stage inside The Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Friday night.
Alternative rock band Beware of Darkness warmed up the crowd with hits from its debut album Orthodox. Following, multi-platinum recording artist Daughtry kicked off its performance with “Baptized” before launching into an energetic set featuring popular hits “Waiting for Superman,” “Feels Like Tonight” and “Battleships.” Fronted by Chris Daughtry, a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol, the band kept the crowd jumping with covers of Phil Collins’ “In The Air Tonight,” Prince’s “Purple Rain” and Imagine Dragon’s “Radioactive.” The lively performance ended on a sweet note as Daughtry brought two fans on stage right before the encore for a special Valentine’s Day proposal.
