Marianne Williamson Named First Speaker for Institute’s New Series

Spiritual teacher and New York Times best-selling author Marianne Williamson will speak at the inaugural Murdock Mind, Body, Spirit Series talk presented by the Aspen Institute on March 5. Named one of the 50 most influential baby-boomers by Newsweek magazine in 2006, she is a popular spiritual author and teacher who has written 10 books, including her 2013 release “A Year of Miracles.” Six of those titles, like “A Return to Love,” have appeared on the New York Times best-sellers’ list. She has also been a popular guest on shows such as “Larry King Live,” “Oprah,” “Good Morning America” and “Charlie Rose.” 

During her presentations, she sometimes encourages women to run for office, and she is currently a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in California’s 33rd District.

William speaks at Paepcke Auditorium on March 5 at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Aspen Show Tix.
