Haute 100 LA Update: Judd Apatow to Receive Paleyfest Icon Award

Judd Apatow has been making people laugh for over two decades, and which is the reason he’s being honored by the Paley Center for Media with its PALEYFEST Icon Award.

It was announced that the today that the triple threat writer, producer, and director of series like The Critic, Feaks and Geeks, The Larry Sanders Show and Girls will receive the award for his many achievements in television.

He will be honored at a celebration hosted by Pat Mitchell, president & CEO of The Paley Center for Media on Monday, March 10, 2014, at the Center’s Beverly Hills location, which will serve as the kickoff event for PALEYFEST 2014, which runs from March 13-28.

Apatow is also the winner of the inaugural Critics’ Choice Louis XIII Genius Award and has been nominated for several Emmys and a Grammy Award.
