John Mayer announces one off London show

Following the success of his sold out October dates last year, John Mayer has today announced a one-off show at The O2 Arena, London on Monday 9 June.

The show will take place as part of Mayer’s 2014 summer European tour which follows last year’s sold out run of dates – his first in almost three years. The London show will give fans a chance to see Mayer perform tracks from his latest album Paradise Valley.

Paradise Valley is Mayer’s sixth studio album which reached the top 10 in nine countries, and peaked at the number for spot in the UK album charts. 

Mayer’s upcoming London date should help take the 36 year old’s mind off his rumoured split from Katy Perry. Mayer and the Prism singer are believed to have broken up a few days ago. John was absent from Katy’s recent trip to London, where she performed at the BRIT Awards alongside Bruno Mars and Beyoncé.
