Jazz Aspen Snowmass Announces JAS Cafe Summer Lineup
Sultry summer nights in Aspen will be a little spicier now that Jazz Aspen Snowmass has announced its lineup for the JAS Cafe. The jazz club, tucked inside the downstairs of The Little Nell, brings internationally renown acts to its intimate venue almost every weekend of the summer for two shows a night (a 7 p.m. and a 9:15 p.m.). Here’s who to ink in for this summer:
June 26 & 27 Rene Marie, With Love to Eartha Kitt “I Wanna Be Evil”
July 2 & 3 Tierney Sutton, “After Blue” The Joni Mitchell Project
July 6 & 7 Poncho Sanchez
July 24 & 25 Django Reinhardt, NY Festival
August 8 & 9 Monty Alexander: Harlem Kingston Express
August 15 & 16 John Pizzarelli
Tickets are $35-45 per show and can be purchased at Jazz Aspen Snowmass. The Little Nell’s element 47 and Ajax Tavern also prepare special prix fixe menus, as well as serve in the JAS Cafe.
