More than 7,000 guests passed through the doors of XS at Encore Las Vegas Saturday night as it marked five years as one of the top nightclubs in the world. Tourists, EDM fans and friends of the venue packed the house to honor the lifetime achievement and take in a remarkable set by America’s reigning best deejay Kaskade. As the clock neared 1 a.m., the venue came to a roar as he jumped on stage and let his music take over the dance floor as a massive balloon drop fell onto the crowds below.

Kaskade also took time to pose with the five executives who have been involved in the award-winning venue since its doors opened. Surrounding a cake made with embellishments inspired by the iconic club itself, the team was all smiles as they raised a glass to the achievement. In the picture, from left to right, John Wood, senior executive director of VIP services; Ronn Nicolli, executive director of nightlife marketing; Jesse Waits, managing partner; Kaskade; Yannick Mugnier, executive director of nightlife operations; and Eric White, assistant general manager. The enormous creation by bakery Gimme Some Sugar was highlighted by features found inside XS including gold torso sculptures that can be spotted behind the bars and the gold pillars throughout.

Though many Las Vegas nightclubs face a short lifespan, XS is one of the most awarded in the country and still a leader in the industry, locking in major EDM acts for exclusive residencies and continuously noted as the top grossing nightclub by Nightclub & Bar’s Top 100.
