Steve Wynn and wife Andrea Wynn hosted Wednesday night’s first-year anniversary celebration for Andrea’s, the Asian dining restaurant named for Andrea Wynn in Encore Las Vegas.

Guests were welcomed with champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres, which included the best of executive chef Joseph Elevado’s most popular dishes including Tuna and Crispy Rice, Fried Burdock Roll, King Crab & Fluke Roll, Spicy Vegan Tofu Roll, Saikyo Miso Cod Lettuce Wraps, Wagyu Beef Sliders, Flame Broiled New York Strip and more. The Fizz specialty cocktail, a tasty concoction of Grey Goose vodka, elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice and soda, was previewed Wednesday night before it will be added to the bar menu on March 1.

Sean Christie, whose Las Vegas Nightlife Group is in partnership with Wynn Las Vegas on the restaurant, introduced Andrea Wynn as “the woman who made it all possible” after acknowledging to guests that it was a photograph of her beautiful eyes that graced the 16-foot LED screen behind the bar.

Andrea welcomed guests and thanked Christie, chef Joe, general manager Roy Saunders and the entire staff for a fantastic year and expressed how she looks forward to many more. She then introduced the evening’s featured entertainment, none other than 5-time Grammy nominee Skylar Grey, who sat down to the baby grand piano, brought into Andrea’s especially for the party, and opened with the Nancy Sinatra ’60s hit “Bang Bang” to kick off her crowd-pleasing set. Steve Wynn personally extended his accolades to Grey, one of the most recognizable voices and hook singers in EDM, for her fine performance.

Notable Las Vegas guests in attendance included Wynn Las Vegas president Maurice Wooden, Roger Thomas, Larry and Camille Ruvo, Janie and Marc Schorr, Leora and Justin Blau, Sheldon and Stephen Cloobeck, and a plethora of Vegas VIPs and journalists.
